HAM launches new LNG station in Italy

Spain’s HAM Group has launched a new LNG and CNG fueling station for vehicles in Italy.

According to a statement by HAM, the first EDUX LNG – CNG refueling station in Italy is located in Via del Camposanto, in front of the “Stagnoni” access to the Port of La Spezia, exit Lerici-Porto on the A12-A15 motorway.

This new filling station joins the network of filling stations offered by HAM Italia, which currently has more than 40 filling stations, it said.

This station has an LNG dispenser with two hoses for refueling trucks and heavy vehicles, and a CNG dispenser, with two hoses for refueling cars, light vehicles, and trucks.

HAM has a network of more than 140 LNG and CNG stations, located on the main transport routes in Spain and the rest of Europe.

It recently opened two LNG stations in Spain.

Last year, HAM also expanded its fleet of LNG-powered trucks and will take delivery of 50 new Volvo tractor units.

Data by gmobility, part of NGVA Europe, shows that Europe currently has 720 LNG stations for vehicles.

Germany hosts 183 stations, Italy 150, and Spain 96.
