Jost expands LNG trucking business

Luxembourg-based transportation and logistics firm Jost Group has recently added a tanker trailer to supply its LNG filling station in Herstal, Belgium.

In order to provide more than 2000 fillings per month to the station, this tanker makes one trip every 36 hours to pick up LNG from the Fluxys-operated terminal in Zeebrugge, according to Jost.

The pan-European transport firm announced an order for 500 Iveco Stralis LNG trucks back in 2017 in order to switch to cleaner fuels from diesel and cut emissions.

With the new trailer, the firm has now a full chain to secure LNG supply for its truck fleet.

The station in Herstal features a 90 cbm tank and four dispensers, making it one of Europe’s largest LNG filling stations, Jost claims.
