Europe imported a record 146 bcm of LNG in 2025, according to ACER, with the United States supplying 58% of total EU LNG volumes. The figures bring supply diversification, terminal availability, shipping routes and infrastructure resilience into sharper focus across the LNG value chain.
These market realities shape the agenda of the 13th International LNG Congress (LNGCON) 2027, taking place in Amsterdam on 1-2 March 2027. The closed-door B2B Congress explores the projects, technologies and commercial strategies influencing the global LNG sector. Hosted by Shell and organised in partnership with TotalEnergies, Wood and Nordsol, LNGCON 2027 features representatives from Eurogas, Evonik Operations, Orlen and other key industry players.
More than 250 delegates from over 130 companies participate in LNGCON each year. The programme includes executive discussions and 180+ pre-arranged B2B meetings with project developers, terminal operators, shipping companies, EPC contractors and technology providers.
