The agency said in its weekly report, citing shipping data provided by Bloomberg Finance, that the total capacity of these 23 LNG vessels is 87 Bcf.
This compares to 24 shipments and 89 Bcf in the week ending October 30.
Natural gas deliveries down
According to data from S&P Global Commodity Insights, average natural gas deliveries to US LNG export terminals decreased 0.8 Bcf/d from last week to 12.7 Bcf/d.
Natural gas deliveries to terminals in South Louisiana decreased by 1 percent (less than 0.1 Bcf/d) to 7.8 Bcf/d, while natural gas deliveries to terminals in South Texas fell 16.9 percent (0.7 Bcf/d) to 3.6 Bcf/d.
The agency said that Freeport LNG reported outages on all three trains on November 1 due to an incoming power feed interruption.
Natural gas deliveries to terminals outside the Gulf Coast were essentially unchanged at 1.2 Bcf/d.
During the week under review, Cheniere’s Sabine Pass plant shipped six LNG cargoes, and the company’s Corpus Christi facility sent five shipments.
Sempra Infrastructure’s Cameron LNG terminal shipped four cargoes and the Freeport LNG terminal shipped three, while Venture Global LNG’s Calcasieu Pass facility and the Cove Point facility each sent two cargoes during the week under review.
Also, the Elba Island terminal sent one cargo during the week between October 31 and November 6.
Henry Hub drops
According to the agency, the Henry Hub spot price decreased 14 cents from $1.94 per million British thermal units (MMBtu) last Wednesday to $1.80/MMBtu this Wednesday.
The price of the December 2024 NYMEX contract decreased 10 cents, from $2.845/MMBtu last Wednesday to $2.747/MMBtu this Wednesday.
The price of the 12-month strip averaging December 2024 through November 2025 futures contracts declined 7 cents to $2.965/MMBtu.
TTF averaged $12.79/MMBtu
The agency said that international natural gas futures decreased this report week.
Bloomberg Finance reported that average front-month futures prices for LNG cargoes in East Asia decreased 17 cents to a weekly average of $13.52/MMBtu.
Natural gas futures for delivery at the Title Transfer Facility (TTF) in the Netherlands decreased 66 cents to a weekly average of $12.79/MMBtu.
The agency said that in the same week last year (week ending November 8, 2023), the prices were $17.46/MMBtu in East Asia and $14.63/MMBtu at TTF.
