RPGCL said in a tender document on Wednesday that the delivery window is July 11-12, 2025.
RPGCL issued the tender to the 23 organizations that have signed the MSPA (master sale and purchase agreement) with Petrobangla.
The tender will close on May 25.
Before this tender, RGPCL invited bids for one spot LNG shipment with a delivery window during July 2-3, and one LNG shipment with a delivery window June 26-27.
According to local media reports, Bangladesh approved the purchase of one spot LNG cargo from Gunvor Singapore this week.
This is for the June 26-27 delivery window, and the price is reportedly at $12.18/MMBtu.
In addition, Petobangla reportedly recently paid $32 million to QatarEnergy LNG, a unit of state-owned QatarEnergy, to clear all outstanding import bills.
Qatar is the largest LNG supplier to Bangladesh.
Bangladesh currently imports LNG via two FSRU-based facilities, both of which feature Excelerate Energy’s FSRUs.
The 138,000-cbm FSRU Excellence serves Bangladesh’s first LNG import facility, Moheshkhali Floating LNG or MLNG, operated by Petrobangla.
Excelerate’s 138,000-cbm FSRU Summit LNG serves as the second LNG import facility operated by Summit.
