Japan’s Japex buys two spot LNG cargoes

Japan Petroleum Exploration Co (Japex) said it had purchased two spot LNG cargoes at “significantly” higher prices to substitute cargoes from the Middle East due to the ongoing blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
