Novatek reported a profit attributable to shareholders of 218.7 billion rubles ($2.78 billion) during the first six months of this year, compared to 225.6 billion rubles in the same period last year.
According to Novatek, normalized profit attributable to shareholders, excluding the effect of foreign exchange gains (losses), reached 216.5 billion rubles in the first half of 2026, 8.7 percent lower than in the first half of 2025.
In the six months ended June 30, 2026, Novatek’s total revenues and normalized Ebitda, including the company’s share in the Ebitda of joint ventures, reached 836.3 billion rubles and 430.4 billion rubles, respectively.
This represents an increase of 4 percent and a decrease of 8.8 percent, respectively, as compared to the corresponding period in 2025.
Novatek recently reported a slight increase in its natural gas sales, including LNG, in the second quarter of this year.
The company’s natural gas sales reached 18.1 bcm in the second quarter.
This marks a 0.4 percent increase compared with the second quarter of 2025, according to Novatek.
During the first half of this year, Novatek’s gas sales decreased 0.3 percent year-on-year to 39.4 bcm.
