Brazil’s state-owned energy firm Petrobras has signed a long-term deal with US LNG exporter Sempra Infrastructure, a unit of Sempra, to buy LNG from the second phase of the Port Arthur LNG project in Texas.
Sempra Infrastructure’s Port Arthur LNG has filed a request with the US FERC to start the pre-filing process for a 27 mtpa expansion of its LNG export project in Texas.
US LNG exporter Sempra Infrastructure, a subsidiary of Sempra, said it is extending the commissioning phase of the ECA LNG Phase 1 project in Ensenada, Mexico, after it found damage in the plant's refrigerant compressors.
