The US exported 21 LNG shipments in the week ending June 30, while feed gas deliveries to liquefaction plants averaged 11.1 billion cubic feet.
Compared to the last week, natural gas deliveries to US LNG export plants rose by 1.09 Bcf/d as shipments increased by four, the Energy Information Administration said in its weekly natural gas report.
Six US terminals dispatched the 21 cargoes during the week of June 24-June 30. The total capacity of LNG vessels carrying these cargoes is 76 Bcf.
This compares to 62 Bcf in the week before and 17 shipments.
In addition, Cheniere’s Sabine Pass plant dispatched seven cargoes in the week under review, while its Corpus Christi plant sent five cargoes.
Freeport shipped four cargoes as three shipments departed from the Cameron facility and one each from Cove Point and Elba Island.
Also, two tankers were loading on Wednesday – one each at Cameron and Sabine Pass.
The Henry Hub spot price rose from $3.33/MMBtu last Wednesday to $3.72/MMBtu two days ago, the agency said.
