Exmar makes board changes as chairman passes away

Belgian shipowner Exmar has made board changes following the death of its chairman Baron Phillippe Bodson.

The LNG and LPG player said on Friday that Baron Phillippe Bodson, aged 75, had sadly passed away on 4 April following his 3-week fight against Covid-19 coronavirus.

As part of the management changes, Francis Mottrie will now step up from his role as deputy chief executive officer to CEO of Exmar.

Nicolas Savery, previously CEO of Exmar, will take up the position of executive chairman of Exmar’s board.
