Finland-based LNG and LBG supplier Gasum has launched a search for a new chief executive after Johanna Lamminen decided to step down from the position.
Gasum said its board of directors has appointed Kai Laitinen as interim CEO, effective September 1. He currently works as Gasum’s chief financial officer.
Moreover, the firm said the recruitment process for a new CEO would begin immediately.
Lamminen has held the position of Gasum’s chief executive since 2014.
“Together with the entire staff, we have traveled an amazing journey. We have built a Nordic energy company that provides clean energy to industry, shipping, and transport, not to forget the biogas market and the circular economy,” Lamminen said.
“The company has a clear goal. The work is done, and now it is the right time for me to head towards new challenges,” she said.
