Five US terminals exported the 20 cargoes during the week of September 1-September 8. The total capacity of LNG vessels carrying these cargoes is 74 Bcf.

This compares to 73 Bcf in the week before and 20 shipments.

Moreover, Cheniere’s Sabine Pass plant dispatched seven cargoes in the week under review, while its Corpus Christi plant sent four cargoes.

Freeport and Cameron each dispatched four cargoes, as one cargo departed from the Cove Point facility.

The Henry Hub spot price rose from $4.46/MMBtu last Wednesday to a weekly high of $4.78/MMBtu two days ago, it said.

The agency said the spot price on Wednesday was more than 105 percent above the Henry Hub price on the same day last year, and the highest September spot price since September 2008, when Hurricane Ike affected offshore production in the Gulf of Mexico.
