Disney Cruise Line expects the new ship to start working from Port Canaveral, Florida in the summer of this year following delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Meyer Werft laid the keel for this ship in April last year. The new ship for Disney Cruise Line has 1,250 cabins and is slightly larger than the company’s current ships, Dream and Fantasy, both built by Meyer Werft.

The German yard should deliver the second and the third LNG-powered vessel to Disney Cruise Line in 2024 and 2025, respectfully.
