Gas deliveries to US LNG export terminals continue to hit record highs

The US exported eighteen LNG cargoes in the week ending November 11 while feed gas deliveries to liquefaction plants continued to reach new records.

Compared to the last week, natural gas deliveries to US LNG export plants increased some 0.2 Bcf/d to total 10.2 Bcf/d while shipments were lower for four cargoes, EIA said in its weekly natural gas report.

Furthermore, deliveries reached 10.5 Bcf/d on November 11, surpassing the previous record high set last week.

As per the shipments, six US terminals dispatched the eighteen cargoes during the week November 5-11. The total capacity of LNG vessels carrying these cargoes is 65 Bcf.

This compares to twenty-two LNG cargoes with the vessels’ capacity of 82 Bcf in the week before.

Cheniere’s Sabine Pass plant sent eight cargoes in the week under review while its Corpus Christi plant dispatched one shipment.

Additionally, Cameron dispatched four cargoes of the fuel while the Freeport terminal shipped three cargoes.

Cove Point and Elba Island sent one shipment of LNG each during the observed week.
