Hoegh LNG makes senior management changes

FSRU player Hoegh LNG has revealed changes to its senior management team, including the creation of a new position for clean energy solutions.

According to a social media post by Hoegh LNG, the company has appointed Nils Jakob Hasle as EVP, Clean Energy Solutions.

Jakob has been with the company since 2008 and comes from the role as Hoegh LNG’s head of fleet management.

In the new role which starts in early April, Hasle will report to Hoegh LNG’s CEO, Erik Nyheim.

“We are developing innovative solutions for carbon capture, ammonia and hydrogen and this change will bring even more momentum to this important work,” Hoegh LNG said.

Besides this move, Hoegh LNG also announced that its chief of staff, Tom Solberg, has left the company this week after seven years with the floating player.

“As we are sharpening our strategy and adapting our organization, we concluded to move critical support functions to business units – enabling strong synergies, and Tom leaves as a consequence of these structural changes,” Hoegh LNG said.
