French LNG containment giant GTT has appointed Thierry Hochoa as the company’s new chief financial officer.
Hochoa will join GTT’s executive committee as of September 4 and report to GTT’s chairman and CEEO Philippe Berterottière, according to a statement by GTT.
A graduate of IAE Paris and ESCP Business School, Hochoa has more than 25 years of experience in the finance function within large international companies, such as Ernst & Young, Technip, Bourbon Offshore and, more recently, CMA CGM, GTT said.
Hochoa replaces Virginie Aubagnac, who decided to give a new direction to her career, the French firm said.
Aubagnac took over as GTT’s CFO in July 2021.
“On behalf of GTT, I thank Virginie Aubagnac for her commitment and professionalism within the group, wishing her every success for the rest of her career,” Berterottière said.
GTT received orders for 42 LNG carriers and one floating LNG producer in the first half of this year.
The company reported a 23.3 percent rise in its revenues for the first half to 177.8 million euros ($193 million).
