Egypt was top destination for US LNG cargoes in June

FSRU-based LNG import terminals in Egypt were the top destinations for US liquefied natural gas shipments in June this year, with Asia becoming the preferred destination for US cargoes over Europe for the first time since September 2024, according to the Department of Energy’s LNG monthly report.
