1) US LNG exporter Venture Global LNG has shipped the second commissioning cargo from its Plaquemines plant in Louisiana, according to shipping data.
2) US energy firm Glenfarne said it had signed a deal with state-owned Alaska Gasline Development Corporation to develop the latter’s giant Alaska LNG export project.
3) The first commissioning LNG cargo from Venture Global’s Plaquemines plant in Louisiana has arrived in Germany. Venture Global’s 174,000-cbm newbuild carrier, Venture Bayou, is expected to dock at DET’s first FSRU-based LNG terminal in Wilhelmshaven later on Thursday.
