1) US LNG exporter Venture Global LNG has completed raising the roofs on two storage tanks at its CP2 LNG export plant in Louisiana.
2) State-owned LNG giant QatarEnergy said it needs to declare force majeure on some of its affected long-term LNG supply contracts, with counterparties including customers in Italy, Belgium, South Korea, and China.
3) Argent LNG has submitted an application to the US DOE seeking long-term authorization to export LNG to both FTA and non-FTA countries from the planned LNG export terminal in Port Fourchon, Louisiana.
