US weekly LNG exports flat

The US exported twenty LNG shipments in the week ending April 21, while feed gas deliveries to liquefaction plants averaged 11.6 billion cubic feet.

Natural gas deliveries to US LNG export plants rose 0.54 Bcf/d when compared to the last week while shipments were flat, EIA’s weekly natural gas report shows.

As per the Henry Hub spot price, it increased from $2.60/MMBtu last Wednesday to $2.65/MMBtu two days ago, EIA said.

Looking at the weekly shipments, five US terminals dispatched the twenty cargoes during the week of April 15-21. The total capacity of LNG vessels carrying these cargoes is 73 Bcf, the same as the week before.

In addition, Cheniere’s Sabine Pass plant dispatched eight shipments in the week under review, while its Corpus Christi plant sent five cargoes.

Freeport and Cameron shipped three cargoes, each, while Elba Island dispatched one shipment.
