US FSRU player Excelerate Energy confirmed that it has signed a seven-year charter agreement with a unit of Canadian firm Frontera Energy to deploy its FSRU to a new LNG import terminal under development in Colombia. Excellerate also confirmed that it purchased a TFDE LNG carrier to convert it to an FSRU.

US LNG exporter Venture Global shipped 127 LNG cargoes from its Calcasieu Pass and Plaquemines LNG export terminals in the second quarter of this year.
