Chinese independent gas distributor ENN has signed a memorandum of understanding with commodity trader Trafigura to explore cooperation in liquefied natural gas (LNG).

Australian LNG player Santos has signed two separate, non-binding LNG agreements that underscore the company’s growing global LNG portfolio position. Santos entered into a non-binding heads of agreement to buy LNG from the Ksi Lisims LNG project in Canada and the company agreed key commercial terms with South Korea's Posco Steel to supply the latter with LNG.
Brazil’s state-owned energy firm Petrobras has signed a long-term deal with US LNG exporter Sempra Infrastructure, a unit of Sempra, to buy LNG from the second phase of the Port Arthur LNG project in Texas.
Argentina's state-owned LNG importer, Energia Argentina (Enarsa), has received updated offers from commodity trader Trafigura and Spanish utility Naturgy as part of the selection process for Argentina's first private LNG importer.
Chinese independent gas distributor ENN said it will buy only half of the LNG volumes it had agreed under a long-term SPA with Cheniere in 2023, as the US LNG producer has not yet taken a final investment decision on the first phase of the Sabine Pass expansion project.
