China’s October gas imports climb 20 percent

Natural gas imports during the last month reached about 10.54 million tonnes, rising 20 percent compared to 8.79 million tonnes in October 2023, the data from the General Administration of Customs shows. China paid about $5.4 billion for gas imports last month. During January-October, China’s gas imports reached 109.52 million tonnes, a rise of 13.6 percent year-on-year….
