GECF says December LNG imports hit new record

Global liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports reached a record 41.93 Mt in December last year, marking a 10 percent year-on-year increase. This was the first time global imports surpassed the 40 Mt mark, the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) said in its latest report.
