HD Hyundai Mipo clinches order for LNG bunkering duo

South Korean shipbuilder Hanwha Ocean expects "substantial" medium- to long-term demand for LNG carrier newbuildings from 2030 onward, driven by a "significant" number of LNG projects, particularly in the US.

German gas and LNG importer Securing Energy for Europe (SEFE) has signed a long-term LNG sale and purchase agreement with Ksi Lisims LNG for volumes from the latter’s planned export project in Canada.

Italian energy firm Edison, a unit of EDF, said it received a new force majeure notification from state-owned LNG giant QatarEnergy, affecting supplies scheduled for delivery at the Adriatic LNG terminal in Italy until the end of December.
