Japan’s Inpex said on Friday that it expects to take a final investment decision on the Abadi LNG project in Indonesia “around mid-2027,” while the company also started EPC tendering for the project.

US FSRU player Excelerate Energy confirmed that it has signed a seven-year charter agreement with a unit of Canadian firm Frontera Energy to deploy its FSRU to a new LNG import terminal under development in Colombia.
