Shandong Marine orders LNG carrier quartet backed by Shell charter

China's Shandong Marine has ordered four liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers from compatriot shipbuilder Jiangnan. Following delivery, these vessels will be chartered to a unit of UK-based LNG giant Shell.
