French energy giant TotalEnergies and trader Vitol have submitted the lowest bids in a tender to supply Pakistan with seven spot LNG cargoes over the October-November period.
To remind, state-owned Pakistan LNG launched the tender last month with seven delivery windows.
Three companies took part in the tender, including PetroChina.
Vitol Bahrain submitted the lowest offers for five cargoes, while Total Gas and Power placed the lowest offers for two cargoes, Pakistan LNG’s evaluation report dated August 24 shows.
Moreover, the report says that Vitol submitted the most competitive bids for the October 7-8 delivery, October 22-23, October 27-28, November 11-12, and November 26-27.
Vitol offered its lowest price of $18.9996/MMBtu for the October 27-28 delivery and the highest of $22.5866/MMBtu for the October 7-8 delivery, the document shows.
On the other side, the unit of TotalEnergies submitted the lowest bid for the October 17-18 window priced at $17.1149/MMBtu and the second on November 16-17 priced at $17.5350/MMBtu.
