French energy giant and LNG player TotalEnergies has appointed Emmanuelle Guegan as the president of marketing and services and a member of the executive committee after Bernard Pinatel decided to retire.
Guegan had been senior VP corporate affairs of TotalEnergies’ exploration and production since October 2025.
She began her career at Total within the French retail network of the marketing and services segment.
Effective September 1, 2026, TotalEnergies’ executive committee will comprise: Patrick Pouyanné, chairman and CEO, Aurelien Hamelle, president strategy and sustainability, Stephane Michel, president gas, renewables and power, Emmanuelle Guegan, president marketing and services, Catherine Remy, president people and social engagement Jean-Pierre Sbraire, CFO, Namita Shah, president Asia and president OneTech, Vincent Stoquart, president downstream, president refining and chemicals, and Nicolas Terraz, president exploration and production.
TotalEnergies reported adjusted net income of $6 billion in the second quarter of this year, up 68.4 percent year-on-year.
Adjusted net income rose 12 percent compared to the prior quarter.
During the second quarter, TotalEnergies sold 10.7 million tonnes of LNG, up 0.9 percent from 10.6 million tonnes in the same quarter in 2025.
LNG sales dropped 13 percent compared to 12.4 million tonnes of LNG in the prior quarter.
