Belgian LNG terminal operator Fluxys is offering five regasification slots for August and September at its LNG import facility in the port of Zeebrugge.
Fluxys LNG, a unit of Fuxys, is offering slots to unload, store, and regasify a cargo in the Zeebrugge LNG terminal, starting on August 2, 22 and 30, and on September 2 and 9, it said in a statement.
For these cargoes, Fluxys LNG has upgraded the standard slot size and commercializes as a bundle the firm rights to unload, store and regasify up to 165,000 cbm of LNG over 10 days.
The firm said it will hold auctions for these five slots on its website on June 21, 22, and 23.
Also, the starting price is the regulated tariff of 645,024,74 euros for the slots of August and 646,238,68 euros for the slots of September, Fluxys said, adding that the major price step is 100,000 euros and the minor price step is 25,000 euros.
The Zeebrugge terminal currently consists of five tanks with a storage capacity of 566,000 cbm and a regasification capacity of about 6.6 mtpa.
However, Fluxys is expanding the facility to almost double the regasification capacity and to add four more truck loading bays.
Fluxys previously said it aims to offer 4.7 mtpa of additional regasification capacity at the Zeebruge LNG facility as of early 2024 and the full 6 mtpa as of early 2026.
Besides the Zeebrugge LNG terminal, Fluxys operates the Dunkirk LNG plant in France.
Fluxys and EIG also bought an 80 percent equity stake in GNL Quintero, the largest regasification terminal in Chile.
