GasLog Partners welcomes Gasfin founder to its board

GasLog Partners said it has appointed Roland Fisher, the founder of mid-scale player Gasfin Development, as an independent director to the partnership’s board of directors.

The limited partnership controlled by Greece-based LNG shipper GasLog said Tuesday the appointment is effective immediately.

Fisher and partners founded Luxembourg-based Gasfin in 2009 in order to provide mid-scale LNG infrastructure.

In addition, the firm is a partner in Ghana’s Tema LNG terminal that should start operations soon. Gasfin developed the LNG regasification barge and floating storage unit that will serve the project.

Moreover, prior to founding Gasfin, Fisher served as a chief financial officer at TGE Group, a specialist in cryogenic gas engineering business.

GasLog Partners’ fleet currently consists of 15 LNG carriers with an average carrying capacity of about 158,000 cbm.
