GTT gets OK for three-tank VLEC design

Norway's Hoegh Autoliners has entered into a contract with China Merchants Heavy Industry in Jiangsu for six additional LNG dual-fuel PCTCs.

Classification society Lloyd’s Register has secured a contract from Dutch services company Dixstone, a unit of London-based oil and gas firm Perenco, to deliver classification and technical assurance for the conversion of an LNG carrier into a floating storage unit (FSU) for the Gabon project.

French LNG containment giant GTT expects approximately 550 orders for large LNG carriers over the next ten years, according to chief executive Francois Michel.
