HAM launches new LNG station in Spain

Spain’s HAM Group has opened a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) filling station for trucks in Valdemoro, Madrid.

The LNG station sits next to the A-4, also known as the South Highway, one of the six radial highways in Spain and the main communication route between the center and the south of the Iberian Peninsula, HAM said in a statement.

Moreover, the mobile station features a 60-cbm tank with one LNG dispenser.

HAM says it monitors the new LNG station remotely to “guarantee its perfect operation and quickly solve any incident.”

The Barcelona-based firm has more than 80 LNG and CNG service stations spread across Spain but also on the main European land transport routes.

It also recently completed Chile’s first LNG filling station for Lipigas.
