TMS Cardiff Gas takes delivery of another LNG tanker

Greece-based shipping company TMS Cardiff Gas has taken delivery of another LNG carrier built by South Korea’s shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries.

The newest addition to the shipping company’s fleet is the third in the same series and a sister vessel to recently delivered LNG carriers La Seine and Amberjack LNG.

TMS Cardiff Gas said it delivered Bonito LNG to her charterer, one of the major gas companies, on May 13.

It features a two-stroke, low-pressure X-DF main engine from WinGD.

TMS Cardiff Gas currently manages a fleet of sixteen LNG carriers out of which eighth more are on order in South Korea.

The Greek LNG shipper plans to take the delivery of these vessels during 2020 and 2021.
