Peru LNG terminal shipped five cargoes in September

Peru LNG’s liquefaction plant at Pampa Melchorita has shipped five cargoes in September, three shipments more compared to August when it completed planned maintenance.

Peru LNG shipped 41 LNG cargoes during January-September, compared to 37 shipments during the same period last year, the Perupetro data shows.

In total, the 4.45 mtpa LNG plant sent 738 LNG cargoes since 2010, according to the data.

US-based Hunt Oil holds a 50 percent operating stake in the Pampa Melchorita LNG plant, while SK and Marubeni have 20 percent and 10 percent, respectively.

LNG giant Shell also holds a 20 percent stake and takes all the volumes produced at the facility.
