The agency said in its weekly report, citing shipping data provided by Bloomberg Finance, that the total capacity of these 24 LNG vessels is 89 Bcf.
This compares to 27 shipments and 101 Bcf in the week ending October 23.
Natural gas deliveries down
According to data from S&P Global Commodity Insights, average natural gas deliveries to US LNG export terminals decreased 0.2 Bcf/d from last week to 13.5 Bcf/d.
Natural gas deliveries to terminals in South Louisiana decreased by 2.3 percent (0.2 Bcf/d) to 7.9 Bcf/d, while natural gas deliveries to terminals in South Texas were essentially unchanged at 4.4 Bcf/d.
The agency also reported that natural gas deliveries to terminals outside the Gulf Coast were essentially unchanged at 1.2 Bcf/d.
During the week under review, Cheniere’s Sabine Pass plant shipped eight LNG cargoes, and the company’s Corpus Christi facility sent four shipments.
The Freeport LNG terminal shipped five cargoes and Sempra Infrastructure’s Cameron LNG terminal shipped four, while Venture Global LNG’s Calcasieu Pass facility sent two cargoes during the week under review.
Also, the Elba Island terminal sent one cargo, and the Cove Point terminal did not export LNG during the week of October 24-30.
Henry Hub slightly up
The Henry Hub spot price increased 3 cents from $1.91 per million British thermal units (MMBtu) last Wednesday to $1.94/MMBtu this Wednesday.
The November 2024 NYMEX contract expired Tuesday at $2.346/MMBtu, up slightly from last Wednesday.
According to the agency, the December 2024 NYMEX contract price decreased to $2.845/MMBtu, down 6 cents from last Wednesday to this Wednesday.
The price of the 12-month strip averaging December 2024 through November 2025 futures contracts declined 3 cents to $3.038/MMBtu.
TTF averaged $13.45/MMBtu
The agency said that international natural gas futures increased this report week.
Bloomberg Finance reported that average front-month futures prices for LNG cargoes in East Asia increased 25 cents to a weekly average of $13.70/MMBtu.
Natural gas futures for delivery at the Dutch TTF increased 70 cents to a weekly average of $13.45/MMBtu.
The agency said that in the same week last year (week ending November 1, 2023), the prices were $17.82/MMBtu in East Asia and $15.36/MMBtu at TTF.
