Molgas, Andamur launch another Spanish LNG station

Spanish small-scale LNG player Molgas and compatriot transport firm Andamur have opened another filling station for trucks.

Located in La Jonquera, north of Girona and near the French border, the new station is the second for the duo following the opening of a facility in Guarroman this September.

Enagas-controlled small-scale LNG firm Scale Gas will take over the management of the LNG filling station.

Molgas and Andamur signed a deal back in 2018 to set up a new company with the aim to build and operate a network of LNG and CNG refuelling stations.

Besides these two stations, the two firms plan to launch stations in Pamplona and San Roman.

On the other side, Molgas already has a network of truck filling stations in Spain. With the addition of the La Jonquer station, Molgas now operates eleven filling stations in the country.

Worth mentioning here, French private equity firm InfraVia Capital Partners said earlier this year it acquired Molgas via its InfraVia European Fund IV.

Molgas mainly operates in Spain, Portugal, and France but also throughout Europe with presence in Italy, Belgium and the UK.
