Global LNG-fueled fleet continues to expand

The number of LNG-fueled vessels continues to increase, boosted by orders for new dual-fuel containerships. The global LNG-fueled fleet will grow to 1154 vessels by 2033, according to DNV’s Alternative Fuels Insight platform. DNV’s data shows that the classification society has added at least 96 new LNG-powered vessels to its platform during July and August….
