1) Golar LNG said it had secured an option to acquire a 148,000-cbm Moss-type LNG carrier which it aims to convert to a floating LNG producer.
2) Italian contractor Saipem is expecting to restart work on the TotalEnergies-led Mozambique LNG project in July this year, according to its chief executive officer Alessandro Puliti.
3) Malaysia’s energy giant Petronas and Argentina’s state-owned oil and gas company YPF are moving forward with their plans to develop a large LNG export project in Argentina, and they have signed an initial land lease deal with the port of Bahia Blanca in Buenos Aires.
