US weekly LNG exports remain flat

The US exported twenty LNG shipments in the week ending April 28, the same as in the week before.

However, natural gas deliveries to US LNG export plants dropped 0.22 Bcf/d to an average of 11.3 Bcf/d when compared to the last week, the Energy Information Administration said in its weekly natural gas report.

As per the Henry Hub spot price, it increased from $2.65/MMBtu last Wednesday to $2.93/MMBtu two days ago.

Looking at the weekly shipments, five US terminals dispatched the twenty cargoes during the week of April 22-28. The total capacity of LNG vessels carrying these cargoes is 73 Bcf, the same as the week before.

In addition, Cheniere’s Sabine Pass plant dispatched seven shipments in the week under review, while its Corpus Christi plant sent three cargoes.

Freeport and Cameron shipped four cargoes, each, while Cove Point dispatched two shipments.
