Denmark-based Dan-Bunkering has recently concluded an LNG fuel delivery in China for Sallaum Lines’ newbuild pure car and truck carrier (PCTC), Ocean Express.
According to a statement by Dan-Bunkering on Friday, the delivery involved approximately 1,400 metric tonnes of LNG.
Dan-Bunkering said it has completed the ship-to-ship LNG bunkering operation through close cooperation with supply partner SIPG Energy, whose local coordination and operational support played an “important role” in executing the delivery.
This delivery is the outcome of a development process that began around April 2025, during which Dan-Bunkering worked with Sallaum Lines to evaluate several LNG supply opportunities in China linked to the company’s newbuild program.
Ocean Express is one of six newbuilds in the series and represents the fourth supply opportunity Dan-Bunkering has supported so far, according to the firm.
Switzerland-based Sallaum Lines recently placed an order for two LNG-powered pure car and truck carriers with a capacity of 8,600 ceu, the largest vessels in its history, at China’s Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry.
