Prague-based Eurowag has recently opened two liquefied natural gas (LNG) fueling stations for trucks in the Czech Republic.
The stationary stations are located in Kozomin and Modletice, according to Eurowag.
These are the first two LNG stations Eurowag built in the Czech Republic.
Including four GasNet stations and one Spolgas stationary station, the Czech Republic now hosts seven LNG fueling stations for trucks.
Citing the national plan for clean mobility, Eurowag said the number of refueling stations in the Czech Republic should rise to 30 by 2030.
European network of LNG fueling stations for vehicles reached 658 stations, as it continues to grow despite high prices, according to Gmobility, previously known as NGVA Europe.
Within the Eurowag acceptance network, customers can then pay with their Eurowag card at 302 of them, the firm said.
Germany continues to host the highest amount of LNG stations for trucks with 165 stations, followed by Italy with 136, the data shows.
Moreover, Spain has 92 LNG filling stations, France 74, the Netherlands 36, Sweden 29, Belgium 26, Finland 15, and the UK 14.
