Primagaz opens new French LNG station

Primagaz, the French unit of Dutch firm SHV Energy, said it has launched a new LNG filling station for trucks in partnership with independent fuel retailer Avia.

Located in southern Toulouse, the site is the 12th natural gas station that Primagaz and Avia jointly deployed in France, according to a Primagaz statement.

Moreover, the new Primagaz-Avia station in Portet-sur-Garonne will supply both heavy vehicles and light vehicles with compressed and liquefied natural gas, the statement said.

Designed to accommodate up to 200 vehicles per day, the site features an 80-cbm tank and three refueling lanes with two LNG and CNG dispensers.

The partners also plan to provide biogas to their customers by 2025, the statement said.
