Under the partnership, GreenLine will deploy its LNG-powered trucks across Dabur’s logistics operations, supporting the company’s efforts to build a “greener and more sustainable supply chain,” according to a joint statement.
The shift to LNG-powered transportation will help reduce emissions from long-haul freight while maintaining operational efficiency and reliability, the statement said.
“The collaboration reflects the growing momentum among Indian companies to adopt lower-emission freight solutions as part of their broader decarbonization strategies and transition towards more sustainable supply chains,” the statement statement said.
Today, the GreenLine operates over 1,000 vehicles across major freight corridors, serving industries including steel, cement, mining, FMCG and chemicals.
Its fleet has collectively traveled more than 100 million kilometers, helping customers reduce over 27,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions, the statement added.
In May this year, GreenLine strengthened its partnership with India’s steel maker Tata Steel with the launch of LNG-powered trucks at the latter’s Meramandali facility in Odisha.

In 2023, Blue Energy launched India’s 100th LNG-powered truck at its manufacturing facility in Pune.
FPT Industrial, a unit of Italian manufacturer Iveco, is supplying engines for the LNG-powered trucks as part of a deal the two firms signed in July 2022.
