Cryonorm says completes record number of LNG stations in 2020

Dutch cryogenic tech firm Cryonorm said it supplied a record number of LNG and L-CNG stations in Europe this year as demand for the fuel grows both in the vehicle and maritime sector.

In 2020, Cryonorm delivered a total of 12 LNG and L-CNG fueling stations to its customers in Germany, France, and the Netherlands.

The owners include BayWa, Uniper’s Liqvis, and Rodl Energie.

Additonally, the firm says it would hand over eight more stations during the first quarter of 2021.

Besides the filling stations, Cryonorm this year also secured a large order from compatriot shipbuilder Concordia Damen to supply equipment for 40 LNG-powered inland waterway barges.

All of these barges will go on charter to Shell while VT Group/Marlow will operate them.
