Gasum to open another Swedish LNG station

Finland-based Gasum will soon launch a new LNG and LBG filling station in Sweden, adding to the sixteen stations it already operates in the country.

Besides LNG, the new station in Göteborg-GLC will also offer compressed natural gas (CNG).

Gasum plans to launch the seventeenth filling station in Sweden in July.

The new station follows the LNG and LBG filling station for heavy-duty vehicles in the southern Swedish town of Malmo.

Gasum is also working on two other filling stations in Sweden and aims to launch these by the end of this year.

In addition, Gasum has also recently secured funds to build two new biogas production plants in southern Sweden as the LNG supplier continues to expand its presence in the country.
