Tersan launches 2nd Nordlaks LNG-powered fish carrier

Turkish Tersan Shipyard launched on Friday the LNG-powered live-fish carrier Harald Martin for Norwegian company Nordlaks.

This is the second fish carrier in a series of two that the Turkish yard is building for the salmon and trout producer.

Tersan launched the first vessel Bjorg Pauline in December last year.

Both of the ships are 84 meters long and feature LNG and battery hybrid propulsion.

Designed by NSK Ship Design and built under supervision of DNVGL, these carriers will be one of the most efficient and most advanced of this type, the yard says.
